A Message From Our Founder
My Name is Michael Kambourakis and I have been a business owner for over 45 years.
A member of the Rotary Club of the Caldwells for the past 23 years and currently serving as president.
I have served my Greek Orthodox Parish for 30 years on the parish councel and have held the position as president.
Forty seven years ago I founded the Search Day Program for children with special needs.
For the past 30 years I have been involved in philanthropic and humanitarian projects here and abroad. After joining the Rotary Club of the Caldwells we built schools and brought running water to villages in the Dominican Republic.
Nine years ago, I founded the DRRO (Dominican Republic Relief Organization) which is a 501 (3) foundation serving the Haitian and Dominican people.
The DRRO has funded and built a health clinic, dormitories, dining facility and chapel located in LaGuneta-Mao DR. There we provide examinations and education on sugar diabetes, dental hygiene and complete dental care for children.
We are open for all medical missions from the US and beyond.
